Using the Messages Tab

All SMS and email notifications are recorded and their statuses indicated on the Messages tab.
Tip
CLEARED4.org uses a dedicated phone number to send text messages: 833-635-1086. Letting your users know about this number will help the user recognize the CLEARED4.org service.
Viewing Messages
You can view Email or SMS messages by clicking the corresponding button.
Click an individual row to display the message that was sent.
When an Error Code is listed, click the link to view the reason for the failure.
Error Code | Definition |
Error 21610 | Attempting to send a message to a number that has unsubscribed. |
Error 30006 | Message was sent to a landline. |
Error 30005 | Message sent to a number that is no longer in service. |
Error 30003 | Message sent to a device that is either turned off or unavailable. |
Note
When the following error messages are generated, the Notify via SMS box on the user's profile page is automatically unchecked as the Platform will no longer attempt to send to a number that does not work or is unable to receive text messages.
- 21610: Attempting to send a message to a number that has unsubscribed
- 30005: Message sent to a number that is no longer in service
- 30006: Message was sent to a landline
Searching For and Filtering Messages
Searching Messages
You search for all messages sent to a specific user. by entering the user’s name in the Search Name field.
Filtering Messages
Enter dates in the From and To fields to narrow the results of the messages displayed.
Messages can be filtered by selecting a Message Type or Message Status from the All Email/SMS drop-down menu.
To clear the filter selected, click the Reset button.
Tip
It is useful to filter for Failed and Undelivered messages to see which messages are not being delivered. This allows you to check for errors in phone numbers or email addresses.
Exporting Messages
To geneate a .csv report of your messages:
- Select the From and To dates.
- Click the Export button.
- The report is generated and stored in your Downloads folder.
