Configuring the Platform for Digital Health Record Validation

The platform is able to read the following types of vaccination records: CDC Vaccination Record cards, SMART Health cards, VCI smart health cards, EU Covid-19 Vaccine Passports, Swiss COVID certificates, Canadian Smart Health cards and CoWin passes.

Note

When the Show Complete Personal Information button is enabled the platform validates the date of birth on the record with the date of birth on the user’s profile.

Verified Users are required to provide proof of identity, ie. passport or drivers license, along with a live video selfie in order to verify that the identity of the user matches the identity on the ID. The information from the user’s ID is stored in the ID widget on the User Profile page.
Rejection Policy Definition
Record and Reject The user uploads vaccination documentation, but the platform rejects the documentation. This documentation becomes a permanent part of the user’s record, and can be viewed by opening the record and clicking the View All link in the Vaccination Information widget.
Record and Pending The user uploaded an image of their vaccination document. An administrator can view the documentation on the user record, and then has the option to accept or reject the documentation.
No Record The user tried to upload documentation but the platform rejected it. There is no record of the upload attempt on the user record.

Once the user has scanned their vaccination record, the information is extracted and displayed to the user.

  • When the user scans a record via a QR code, the birth date is extracted and displayed to the end user as a read-only field. The user has the option to change the vendor, vaccination and dose information.
  • When the user uploads their vaccination record using a photo of their vaccination card, information is extracted using Optical Character Recognition (ORC). The user has the option to change all fields, including their birth date.

The user has the option to add vaccination information from multiple cards.
