Video Proctoring: Administering a Remote COVID-19 Test

Video proctoring is a premium feature that allows you to proctor a remote user while they self-administer a COVID-19 test.

CLEARED4 will create the lab(s) needed in the Platform. Your sales representative will send you the URLs and login credentials for the Pro/LabsVideo Proctoring and Video Contact Center websites.

Preparing for a Proctored Session

  1. Enable the Video Proctoring feature on the Settings -> User Experience page. Click the Save button if you have made a change to this page. 

  2. Log into the Pro/Labs website.
  3. Create appointment slots at the desired lab. 

  4. Ensure the test you are using is enabled on the Settings -> Labs and Test page. 

Users are now able to book a Covid test appointment via the Book Covid Test Appointment button in the app. 

Tip

Remind users to adjust for any difference in time zones when booking test appointments.

Proctoring the Remote COVID-19 Test

  1. Log into the Proctoring Agent website.
  2. Log into the Video Contact Center.
  3. When it's time for the user's proctoring session they will see the Join Video Appointment button in the app. 

  4. After they click the Join Video Appointment button they will be placed in the Video Conference Center website. 
  5. In the Proctoring Agent website, click the Connect button. 

  6. In the Proctoring Agent website, click Add Session
  7. Go to the Video Contact Center and copy the CLEARED4 user ID from the Call Queue

  8. In the Proctoring Agent website, paste the number into the C4USER ID field, then click the Search button

  9. Select the user you will be proctoring. 

  10. Confirm the information that displays on the screen with the user. 

  11. Ask the user to show the Kit ID to the camera. Enter this information in the Kit ID field. 

  12. Select the Test Type from the drop-down menu. 

  13. Select the lab in the Scheduled Test field. 

  14. Click Save Session

  15. In the Video Contact Center website, watch the user self-administer the COVID-19 test. 

  16. The user remains on camera during the wait period (usually 15 minutes). When it is time, the user will share the result of the test with you by showing their test to the camera.
  17. In the Proctoring Agent website, select the Result of the test. 

  18. Add any Comments to the record, then click Complete Session. The test result is added to the Platform and can be accessed by both the administrator and the user.  

  19. When you are ready to end the call, in the Video Contact Center website click the Disconnect button.
