Devices: CSTS Admin

You can set up a device such as tablet or laptop for users to access the Platform through their Deep Link.

You must create your locations, groups and tags before you create a device.

Suspended and terminated users are not available from the terminal.

Configuring the Check-In Screen

  1. Click the Add button at the top of the Devices widget.

  2. Enter a Name for the device. For example: Main Door Kiosk or Reception 1.
  3. Enter a unique ID Code, then select the Location where the device will be located. 
  4. Select CSTS Admin from the Type drop-down menu. 
  5. Click the Add button.
  6. Select a Scan Policy.

  7. Determine which Configs you want to enable or disable.

    Definition
    Show Personal Info
    Displays the user’s date of birth, test status, address, phone number and insurance information.
    Show Send Link button
    Sends a link to the user’s email address or as an SMS message. Note: The user profile must have an email address or phone number, as well as the corresponding box checked in the Notify via field for the Send Link button to be present on the device.
    Show Call User button
    Gives you the option to call the user from the kiosk.
    Show Force GreenPass button
    Allows you to force a GreenPass for the user.
    Show Force BluePass button
    Allows you to force a BluePass for the user.
    Show Add Covid Test button
    Allows the user to add the result of a Covid test via the kiosk.
    Require Proof of Test Result button  When the Add Covid Test button is enabled, the user must provide proof of their Covid test result.
    Show Add Vaccination button
    Allows the user to add a vaccination record via the kiosk.
    Require Proof of Vaccination button. When the Add Vaccination button is enabled, requires the user to upload proof of their vaccination record.
    Show Remove Pass button
    Allows you remove a user’s health pass.
    Show Check - In button
    Allows the user to check in.
    Show Add Test Kit button
    Allows a nurse to scan the user’s test kit via a scan. An Auto-ID button is available to the user to to automatically generate a kit ID before they add the test kit.
    Show Test Appointment button
    Allows a lab to schedule an appointment for a user.
    Show Reactivate button Allows a user who has been inactive to reactive themselves.
  8. Click the Save button at the top of the widget.

  9. Follow the Device Setup Instructions.

Check-In Screen View

Once you have copied and pasted the URL for the barcode check-in into a brower the following screen displays:

The user will scan the QR available from their Deep Link, or you can manually enter their information, then click Go.

Note

iPhone users should ensure their QR settings are correctly enabled before scanning the QR code.

After selecting their account, you will see the following screen. Note that the buttons that display will vary depending on how you have configured the device. 

The Admin taps:

  • Send link to send the user a link to the Health.
  • Check In to complete the check-in process.
  • Force GreenPass to force a GreenPass for the user.
  • Force BluePass to force a BluePass for the user.
  • Add Covid Test Result to upload test result information.
  • Add Test Kit to add test kit information.
  • Add Vaccination Proof to upload vaccination proof.
  • Test Appointments to view or schedule a test.  

If the user's account has been deactivated the following screen displays: 

Click the Reactivate Account button to reactivate the user.

Changing the Check-In Screen Display Language

To change the display language of the check-in interface click the drop-down arrow in the upper-left corner and select a new language. 

The languages that are installed in Platform will display in the drop-down list. For information on adding additional languages, click here.

In the example below, Spanish has been selected as the display language. 

Once the user has scanned their QR code, or entered their information, the check-in screen displays.
